Elaine first came to SFCAC in 2001 when her family moved to San Francisco from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She grew up in the church
and started dedicating her life to the Lord in third grade. She once dreamt
to be a game designer. However, God had a different path planned for
her. As she reflected on her faith with God, she realized that being a game designer was not for her, but rather working with children and youth.
She now holds a bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development with an emphasis in Youth Work and Out of School Time from San Francisco State University. As the director of the SFCAC After-School program, she strives to share God’s love to the students and families
in the local community.
